Thought i'd try this before coughing up 20 bucks at the shop.

Mine's a tough and sturdy 27" Feng Chen / Chen Fang? / some offbrand cheapie... in new to great shape.

Yours is that old 700 18-25 that's been gathering dust over the years since you upgraded to Gatorskins or better.

Make me happy.

I recommend investing in the gatorskins up front cuz more than likely you'll end up going thru a lot of tubes otherwise.

Trust me, you say 700 x 18-25... But you don't want to go lower than a 23 unless you like riding a boneshaker.

It's for a rainy day beater - if I get a flat, i'm already soaked. I'm a true believer when it come to the Continentals.

So, are you saying that you mistakenly purchased a 27" tire and have just realized that you need the most common of
tires, the 700c instead?
