Charlene just got a new Bailey Works bag... and it's pretty damn nice.
How much are you looking to spend?

Even an average-sized Chrome bag is going to run around $135 - $150 range.

I don't care for Timbuks because they don't have enough of the features that make a bag really comfortable and versatile... basically, they are too expensive for not a lot of bag. Same with ReLoad.

i got one from geeks.com for around 7 dollars. its no charmer, but it fits a 12 pack.

The chrome bags look stout. Does anyone in Lexington sell them? Would their medium (citizen) model hold work clothes and lunch? At the price of their bags, I won't be buying two.

I have a Seagull bag from columbus ohio i love it its about the price of a chrome and has padding behind the buckle that the chrome does not.
heres the seagull site http://seagullbags.com/ they sell a black bag that is the same size as the large chrome for about 100, its simple but still a good bag.

One of my friends bought a bag that looks identical to the chrome and is considerably less and the only difference is where the chrome has the seatbelt buckle this has a regular plastic buckle.

my only real beef with Chrome bags is that they do not utilize the inside volume of the bag as well as some other bagmakers do. It mostly has to do with how the bag is designed right where the top flap folds over the front. It tapers up too high and actually minimizes the amount of space you can fill. Also, their pockets are a little lacking in how useful they are for fitting various things in them.

Other than that, I think they offer some of the best features of many of the bags out there, and the strap design and strap padding are among the best I've seen, making for a really comfortable, balanced ride with a load.

Of course, many of the other bagmakers that have popped up recently have also started integrating many of the same design features as the Chrome bags, but also trying to improve upon them - so you can find cheaper $$$ bags out there that are made just as well. The Seagull bags that Matt and Chris have are really, really nice and are huge!

Does anyone have a PAC bag. they look pretty sweet. just reading their www it appears that there is a lot of thought that goes into the construction. Pretty expensive but built to last I'd guess

ok so I just looked again and they are really expensive but I think that is just because the dollar is so weak right now. nothing in god's america should be weak damn it.
