Hey guys,

I know time has slipped away, but it's probably time to meet up and start to hash out some of the details for Ladies Army. Some of the details will be fairly straight forward, but we'll need to get an idea of where our priorities lie. Just so there's enough notice, I was hoping we could try for Friday the 18th. Does that date work for everyone? It shouldn't last very long and we can all go out afterwards for TIFFANY MORROW'S BIRTHDAY! Smile

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town that day.

I will say in advance that I do not want to be the housing lady.

Something to discuss would be an info guide like Turner made for Midwests that we can give to businesses for funding. The sooner the better for things related to monies and asking for monies...

Aw, dammit KJ! I wanted you specifically to be there! I figure for housing we can rope Nick Redbeard or Kyle into it. Fiddling with spreadsheets is what engineers do best after all. Wink

How does meeting around 9 sound? James, as always, your house would be awesome. (Thank you!) Alright people, bring your ideas and talking points. I had some guys from Minneapolis tell me how the Open was one of the best tournaments they'd ever attended. We can do it again!
Should I make a facebook event for this or is lexrides enough?

I almost forgot about the "Tourney Prep" forum that we created on Lexrides back when we were planning for the Midwests. Feel free to post in that one if you feel it is appropriate once the planning gets going.

Also, it might be worth it to take a peek at this thread that I created after the Midwests... it shows a breakdown of how much money we raised, and what it all went towards: http://www.bikelex.com/lexrides/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1852

Of course, there won't be some expenses like we had last time - namely the cost of the third court and the goals... but the rest is all a good indicator for what might be needed the next time around.

I can meet this weekend or Monday or Tuesday of this coming week or the next. Gonna have to be a weeknight if we want to meet sooner than later it sounds like.

Don't make a facebook invite for a meeting. Facebook is for party invites and making fun of people--not serious stuff like we post on here... Wink
