I submitted the application for 2011 and we should next to March Madness. I assume the tweed ride is after the parade, so it'll be like last year. Tweed the parade and then Tweed the ride. There's a remote chance I will not be here that weekend, so if anybody else wants to promote the parade ride, please do!

shane's already got the official forms and whatnot for the lexrides entry. submitted the application a couple weeks ago. this may turn into a parade rumble.

Bill Enright with parade committee emailed over the weekend asking if we were riding again this year. I registered us last year. Maybe Shane registered under a different name. If so, I'll email Bill to see if we can be collapsed into one group. I think it's a little ridiculous to have multiple bike groups, but maybe there'll be tons of bikes this year.

Btw, the Tweed Ride will indeed be happening after the parade. I'm working on the poster right now, and awaiting some final details.

we'll do the parade. Last year was a lot of fun... plus, if you do the parade, you get more pre-drinking time at SideBar!

I don't think one will hurt the other, really. Likely, a lot of out-of-towners and regular polo folks will be at the courts, and the majority of participants who attended the Tweed Ride last year were new faces from here in town.

I suppose the only real dilemma for polo people is whether or not to break away from pick-up for a few hours to do the parade / tweed ride.
