We're putting together another race for Louisville (since one a year just seemed wrong) on Friday, May 1st. Come ride in the pre-Derby craziness.

Registration starts at 5 pm
Race begins at 6 pm and leaves from Hogan's Fountain
Race finishes at Skull Alley at Broadway and Barret.

Registration $5

Awards will include top finishers and best "Horse and Rider" costume.

Proceeds will go to non-profits supporting bicycling advocacy in Louisville.

You guys should really get a crew together a come to this. Expect some Derby craziness around town and some fun checkpoints.

Thanks for the waiver. I highly doubt I'll be winning any poster contests, although we'll see what my graphic design friends can come up with. We're thinking maybe something of a jockey riding a horse riding a bike.

Gonna have to sit this one out. I spent 18 years trying not to be in that town during Derby Weeks so I am not gonna make the trip.

If anybody from Lexington is still looking to go, I think I am in now. I was going to Boston the weekend of May 1, but academic concerns have made that trip impossible. I will probably want to drive in, stay the night, and drive back, but I'm flexible. Send me a message.
