Hey folks,
one of the guys I work with had his bike stolen off our backporch here at work last night (9/11). It is a maroon Pacific (big box store type)that's been fixed up to be a commuter- it does have toe clips and Michelin slick tires (instead of wide, mt bike tires) on it with a rack on the back with a top loading black bag It also had a chain lock around the seat post. It has front shocks too.
Our office is right next to columbia steakhouse downtown the block after le deauville.

The thiefs who took it were pretty bold too- they had to hop over a wodden/metal barrier two-stories up and i guess drop or pass the bike to another accomplice. the bikes not even worth that much...whats a crack rock go for these days?
