the registration for the bike polo at this years NACCCs is now open or is opening soon. Being hosted by Chi Bike Polo and is in conjunction with the event.

90 for a team (30 each)

So we need to start getting teams together, or at least see whos going.

Tomorrow night at polo we need to seriously sit down and talk about who is seriously considering going, so we can plan out teams and travel, and then take it from there.

Again, the dates are:
Labor Day Weekend: Fri. August 29th - Mon. Sept 1st

Here's the schedule for polo events:

Friday, Aug 29th - Opening Night Registration

* 4 PM to 8PM: Registration / Check In. Venue location - Mother Hubbard's, 5 W Hubbard St. (Corner of Hubbard and State).
* 8 PM: 2-on-2 friendly competition. Pick a partner from another city, winners stay on. Takes place at the court.

Saturday, Aug 30th - Round Robin

* Play begins at 10 am. Over by 6 or 7.
* 2008 Messenger Prom Party 9 to ?????
* Sleep. Get your rest. Yeah, I said it.

Sunday, Aug. 31st - Double Elimination Bracket/Finals

* Play begins at 10. Over by 6 or 7
* Side Competitions - Skids, Sprints--ALL ON POLO GEARS. 2 to 1, baby!!!
* Awards Ceremony and Final Night Party, 9pm to ?????

Monday, Sept. 1st

* Breakfast - 9am
* Rules/League Forum - 10am
* Get out.

i would like to go..but not to play. if someone needs a person to throw in gas money im down to go and hang out.

Pretty sure flowers and I are both in... We will be driving up with Jarah and Laura so I don't think we will have extra seats. Wednesday night planning meeting? Lets decide who is going to register us, 1 or 2 teams, and then pay up. Sorry I missed the games (and the tornado) yesterday.

I'm in for sure.

I already have a place to stay, but I can give 1-2 people a lift up there, or I can carry 2-3 more bikes. Not sure if I'm taking just my polo bike, or two bikes for myself.

Also, I have a PayPal account that I can use to pay with if folks wanted to just pay me their entry fees... just a suggestion to make it easier.
