if they haven't started applying the asphalt when you guys go out there, and if you decide to play, just be conscious of keeping everything as clean as it was when you arrived. Not that we don't usually pick up after ourselves... just sayin'.
I won't be able to make it out tonight, but I plan on stopping by there sometime today to check on the progress for myself.
The soccer balls should be at Tiffany's carport with the rest of the old wooden mallets. The new aluminum poles should be fine for playing grass court as well. |

I had to work in Frankfort yesterday afternoon, and on the way back in to town we followed one of those Asphalt Animals trucks from way out Leestown Road to where they turned left on Jefferson.
Of course, there's a lot of paving going on on the north side right now, so they could have been on another job. _________________ http://www.lexingtonbikeracecalendar.com |

At least one layer of asphalt should be down this evening but it will not be ready for games. Should be totally finished and cured in time for Sunday games. So, tonight it will have to be grass. |

Someone take some photos if you can. I think we can push an article with the HL about how this has all come about.
We have the $$$ from Andrea for the corners once the asphalt is poured. Folks should starting thinking about how we are going to make the corners and add the mural aspect. |

What size soccer ball do you guys use? I got a size 3 that somehow found its way into my house that I don't use. |

we only use a soccer ball for grass games, and I believe it is a size 1, or a "skills ball". |
