So our friend Pinky that some of y'all met at Bike Lexington writes for the LA Times and wrote up up this piece for one of their blogs about her day in town. I don't really know the folks that work at Stella's, but somebody here does--you should forward.
She wrote this because when we were at Al's she asked me about Lexington literary culture and I told her about the UK/Stanford pipeline in the early sixties, and then I mentioned that I'd seen Norman and Hall and Bobbie Ann Mason and others at the same local diner on multiple occasions. _________________ http://www.lexingtonbikeracecalendar.com |
