KY Junior Senator Randy Paul is calling for a Tues. Nov 1st vote to end Transportation Enhancement funding from any upcoming Transportation bill. This latest attack again threatens the programs that have provided much of the nation's bike and ped facility development since the early 1990's.
TE funding pays for the addition of bike lanes and sidewalks all over the nation and here in Lexington.
Here is the link to the League of American Bicyclists home page. Please take a minute to check the the Take Action link and send Sens. Paul and McConnell the pre-written objections - or compose your own message - to let them know of the importance of biking and walking to you as active transportation.
