i may have managed to put a very slight flat spot on my rear rim. i can feel it bump when i ride but is hardly visible. in fact i'm not sure i can see it at all. anyone have a rim puller/know how to use one? if its slight enough, might i be able to true it out? |

It won't be easy to get perfect. You can use 3 blocks of wood and a hammer to bang it out. Use two blocks to prop the rim up off the ground, then put the 3rd block in the middle of the low spot, then bash appropriately.
If you have recently changed a flat, check to make sure the tire isn't seated deeper in the rim in one spot than the rest. |
