Here's a decent article that was posted on kyforward.com and linked on the Lexrides Facebook page. It's a pretty good rundown of what has been happening with bike initiatives and what is in the works, in pretty general terms. I was a bit turned off by the initial approach of the intro to the article because it takes that tone of painting most cyclists as awkward, naive hobbyists who suit up to go out and risk their lives on the roads... Most people I know who bike everyday (who aren't clueless students or so-called "invisible cyclists") are actually confident and assertive and skilled in proper ways of dealing with traffic and sharing the road.
