Bike Lexington 2011 will once again be hosting the 4th Annual Velo Swap, in partnership with our fine hosts, The Void Skateshop. Here are the details:

4th annual Bike Lexington Velo Swap
Sunday, May 15th
Noon - 4pm

The Void Skateshop
518 E. High Street (between Kentucky Ave. & Woodland Ave.)

A Bike Lexington tradition, this event is FREE and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring their used bike parts, cycling gear, and bike-related items to sell or swap with others. This is a great opportunity to find those parts you need, or to clear out your parts drawer to make room for another season of stuff. There will be a few tables provided, but they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can bring whatever you need to help you set up and display your goods. Please come prepared with your items clearly marked & priced (trust me, this helps!).

This event will end at 4pm, so the bike polo folks will still have plenty of time to get some Sunday playing in.

Any chance a truck will be available from Broke Spoke to take any unwanted bikes/parts once the sale is over?

Yup I will have the big box trick to happily haul away any donations folks have.

Plus we will have some random parts, frames and bikes.

For those interested in seeing what you can get from my stash, I have compiled a google spreadsheet, I have prices set, but everything is negotiable! I'm still finding odds and ends, but none of it's worth listing.

In case you're wondering, Velo Swap is still ON for today. It may rain off and on later, but I don't think the weather will be any different than it's always been every other year.

Thanks for coming out, everyone. The Velo Swaps at The Void just keep getting bigger and bigger even though the weather is shittier every year. I think we officially overflowed the parking lot this year with bike stuff.

I hope many of you made money, scored some great deals, or just had a good time hanging out in the cold rain.
