I'm up for this tournament. Have you got a team in mind yet? If not, I'm willing to sign on. |

I'd be down to go. I don't know if I can play yet, as the doctor still hasn't given me the go ahead to start doing everything I did with my wrist before I wrecked my bike. |

so being that this thing has gotten way bigger than we expected, what's the consensus on goals? this isn't to say we're going to do what everyone thinks is best. in reality we'll probably come up with something completely fucked just to piss everyone off, but i'm just curious...
seems actual goals are getting fairly popular. |

how many teams are you expecting, Jimmy?
Lex has been getting by for years with just cones, but we're getting fed up with how many questionable goals that can create when it's not so easy to tell of a ball is high or not.
We're in the process of designing and building goals for the Midwest Open, because we don't want the hassle of worrying about contested goals.
It really just comes down to what you have the time, resources and motivation to provide. There are some pretty good examples of designs on the League site, if you can get the materials together and get something built by next weekend... but also, cones would be fine and I don't think anyone will complain too much regardless. _________________ ------------[] O |

at this point brian, it looks like somewhere between 12-15 teams, but who knows.
we lucked into a huge stack of excellent 4x8 sheets of plywood, so the boards are getting built as we speak.
should be a good time held by all.
any of you lexington guys need accomodations?
ive got maybe 3-6 right now booked, but my house could probably hold twice that, and i have a tent and a backyard.
just let me know. |

yeah, what michael said, but it does seem to be growing. looks like dayton just let zach know they'd be coming with two teams as well.
this totally isn't going to suck at all. |

Zach from Louisville is wanting to get a feel for how many from Lexington are going, and who from here needs a place to crash.
I told him I thought maybe 3-4 teams, but I'm not sure.
I'm just driving up for the day, so.... _________________ ------------[] O |
