i went to the court yesterday and some jackass has taken all the glass out of the trash cans around the courts and smashed it ALL OVER the courts, its everywhere.

This brings up something that i have thought of for a wile but it has never been this much of an issue.
A. drink more cans
B. when we do drink out of glass please take it with you when you leave. we will have plenty of plastic bags from buying beer at the store, and if you drink 40s like a G they have tops, its a win win more beer and easy to take!

You've got a great point chris. As for brooms, I got one I can bring out tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for polo activities.

I'll bring a shop broom, a pan, and maybe a small container that we can use to put the glass into instead of having to make a bunch of trips back and forth across the courts to dump it.

I'm all for banning glass at the courts. I'm also guilty of bringing a bottle or two from time to time but would happily switch to strictly cans or plastic only if we can get everyone else to cooperate. Of course we'll never be able to control the amount of glass that the other neighborhood folks and transients litter the place with, but if we stop doing it ourselves it will make a huge difference.

I remember when I first traveled to Dayton to play on their courts they said they had strict NO GLASS rules and it made an impression on me, especially because the very same thing had happened when we showed up there... we spent a long time picking up glass from the courts that some kids had broken all over the place.
