I doubt I would start out with this technique for attaching mallet heads, but it could be a good alternative for repairing heads that have broken bolts without drilling too many more holes, or worrying about them lining up correctly.

i just saw that link on urbanvelo. how do they have the nipples seated in the nylon/pipe? |

Probably just counter-sunk. Nipple flanges are not too substantial, especially against pliable plastic material. Not sure how long that will last, so this may be good for just a temp. fix _________________ ------------[] O |
