July 16, 2009 (Lexington, KY) The top junior athletes in the sport of cycling will race through the streets of Lexington Friday evening, July 17 to decide the overall winner of the 2009 Tour of the Red River Gorge (UCI) Junior Invitational Stage Race.


The older juniors in the 15-18 age range – many with aspirations to race the Tour of the River Gorge Invitational next year – race at 6:35 pm. The evening’s marquee event goes off at 7:30pm.
