I am sorry i have fallen off the map! I know I am Lame, but it looks like Lexington bike polo is jumping off like we knew it would. I am stoked to see your pics on flickr from tourneys and such. Way to go guys, you know how to do it in style. Things in COS are going pretty well, super busy and bike polo is finally starting to find its niche here as well, i am not heading any of this up, but i do play from time to time, and thought some of you might be interested in checking this out. I have room for 6 people in beds in my house and would gladly come pick you up from Denver International Airport. if anyone is interested, has the funds and would like a small vacation to the land of high altitude low oxygen i would love to have any of you. later George 859-771-7934

Ah i remember reading the COS blog a few days ago and wondered if you had anything to do with starting it up. That tournament would be sweet, but i cannot make it myself because i have to be at a wedding. Ahh theres so many things happening that weekend!
Good to hear from you George, to bad we weren't able to get together back in October when i was in Denver.

Of coarse you want to have us, because we pretty much fucking rock the house. However, polo is not quite the same without having to deal with thoughts like " Oh fuck! I'm the only one on my team between George and the goal!" . You are missed around here. You can come and see us anytime as well. You are welcome at my house. Or anytime you need a fooseball lesson. .

I feel kind of O.G. because the grass polo has gone the way of the olds in Lexington. Does anybody play grass polo these days? I know the Denver tourney is to close to call but, i am trying to make it back in Sept. If any one has future plans of making it to the Denver/cos area let me know and i will try to hook up. Sorry Burton, old job lame new job awesome. So that is the plan. I am going to try to whip a team into to quality shape for Denver but we will see how that goes. Keep it fast and the rubber side down. Did i mention the 333m Velo is 4 blocks from my crib! Its time to get jealous! And by the way i am yet to see a foose challenge to the face! _________________ I don't miss the humidity. |
